Gendruwa
Genderuwa (in the Java language pronunciation: "Genderuwo") is a Java myth about a kind of jinn or evil spirits that the human form of large-bodied ape-like and stocky with dark reddish skin color, his body covered with thick hair that grows in the whole body. Genderuwa most widely known in society on the iwasland of Java, Indonesia. Sundanese people call it "gandaruwo" and the Javanese are generally called "devils". Genderuwa is a male. Habitat occupancy watery passion is rock, old buildings, large trees that shaded or damp corners of the quiet and dark. According to myth, this creature is believed residency center located in forest areas such as Teak Forest Nature Reserve Danalaya, Slogohimo district, about 60 km east of Wonogiri, and in the Weak White, Purwosari, Girimulyo in Kulon Progo, about 60 km to the west of Yogyakarta.
Genderuwa believed to communicate and make direct contact with humans. Genderuwa believed to be a figure of fun and lewd creatures, because of his penchant tempt humans especially women and children. Genderuwa sometimes happy slapped ass woman, stroking the female body while sleeping, even to move in women's clothes to another person. Sometimes genderuwa came in the shape of small furry creatures that can grow larger in an instant, genderuwa also fond of throwing stones at the house of the gravel at night.
